Meet Linda Cheng, the CEO of Taiwan-based Acare Technology Co., Ltd., an ISO 13485 & GMP certified company with an excellent quality control system. The organization specializes in respiratory-related products, from diagnostic to oxygen therapy equipment, to provide its clients with the most comprehensive and reliable purchases. It provides the most elements from Respiratory diagnosis to Respiratory therapy, Pulse Oximeter to Oxygen, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) therapy. Acare also supplies several critical components like the SpO2 module and BLDC blower for constant and reliable manufacturing activities.
While most organizations specialize in one or two leading technologies, Acare is an expert at electronic and firmware design like Pulse Oximeters, mechanical designs like Oxygen Regulators, and System Integration design like Auto-CPAP. The Steadfast Leader
Acare’s CEO Linda completed her graduation in Business Administration from Fu Jen Catholic university in Taiwan. After completing her education, Linda got her first formal job as a Product Specialist. 2nd job with self-study to have a System Engineer certificate. Later in 2003, she joined a listed stock company in medical devices as a Product Management Department Manager and worked there until she established Acare Technology Co., Ltd. in 2006.
As a veteran of the industry, Linda knows that medical device is related to hardware design, software design, and system integration. Globally health channels are running with a specialized combination of different experiences, and there are multiple talented people in the medical device industry in Taiwan. As the leader of her organization, Linda would like to gather all those talented people to see how much Acare could contribute to the healthcare industry.

Its product lineup includes; Pulse Oximeter, SpO2 Probe Sensor, Medical Flowmeter, Oxygen regulator, Suction regulator, Medical Gas Outlet, CPAP devices, and CPAP masks.
Helping the Society
When it comes to participating in CSR activities, Acare supports Rotary Club’s blood donation activities every year. As the organization’s leader, Linda likes to emphasize the company’s governance and enhance its workflow to improve efficiency further. She says, “Having a healthy company running often shows that we could have the capability to carry social responsibility. We keep hard-working to see how much we could contribute to the environment members.”
A recent clinical study conducted by Wei-Sheng Chung, M.D, Ph.D. Department of International Medicine, Taichung Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taichung, Taiwan, shows that Acare Auto-CPAP(CPA-500) efficiency was 75.8%±15.8%. As the leader, Linda hopes Auto-CPAP could provide OSA patients with much better sleep quality to avoid traffic accidents.
Tackling the Pandemic
Due to the global pandemic, the world has realized the importance of primary respiratory health care. Acare has a one-stop medical device shopping service that ensures every product in the lineup meets the standard, which can support respiratory disease precaution and avoid oxygen waste in hospitals. Being a well-known organization in respiratory-related products, Acare supplies its products to 103 countries globally and was requested to supply necessary respiratory medical devices in time during the pandemic.
Picture of the Future
In the future, Linda plans to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to medical regulations continuously. She feels medical regulations are getting stricter in different countries with high-cost inputs. Linda and her team at Acare expect that the market demand circulation result to cover the continuous product development and medical regulation spending. Also, the company will make more marketing promotions to highlight its reliability and recognition.
